Rehabilitation: Agriculture
The AgrAbility Project assists agricultural and agribusiness workers who have physical and mental disabilities, which may include one or more
of the following: amputation, multiple sclerosis, arthritis, muscular dystrophy, back pain, post-polio syndrome, cancer, respiratory problems,
cardiac problems, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, stroke, deafness and hearing impairments, traumatic brain injury, mental retardation, and
blindness or vision impairments.

The AgrAbility Project was created to assist people with disabilities employed in agriculture. It links Cooperative Extension Services with
nonprofit disability service organizations to provide practical education and assistance that promotes independence in agricultural
production and rural living. The AgrAbility Project has emerged as one of rural America's most valuable and cost-effective
resources.
