Canine and Abled
Canine and Abled is a service dog education program dedicated to promoting awareness and acceptance of
service dog teams everywhere.
"Being partnered with a service dog has opened my eyes to a gross misunderstanding throughout the
general public regarding service dogs, the rights and priveleges a SD team is entitled to, and the unique
benefits these canine angels bestow upon their disabled partners".
"My goal with Canine and Abled is to evoke tolerance of the disabled; something that is sorely lacking
in today's society. I know in my heart that people would not say rude things or deny access to disabled
persons who rely upon service dogs if only they had insight of what these dogs do for us, and what life is
like for a partnered team".
"Canine and Abled has been launched in schools, businesses, civic associations and the like and has
received many accolades from audiences everywhere. It has also gained much attention in the media of late,
and has been a great opportunity to promote awareness".
"It's so very important for me to spread my message far and wide! I can't begin to tell you how an
access challenge affects a person who relies so completely upon their service dog. Education means open
doors and open doors mean freedom; something our service dogs have so generously and selflessly given back
to us".
"Kimberly Carnevale, Dewey (service dog), and Dawson (service dog in training)"--
"Together, we are Canine and Abled".
