Designed to reinforce different environmental concepts in which a child would travel, it features a boy named Elliot, who is blind. Elliot provides a positive role model for blind children as he travels through the supermarket, in the subway, around the block, all around the town. Share his adventures with family and friends through 17 chapters that reinforce environmental concepts and moblity skills.
Each chapter contains 6 parts: New words to learn and Use, The Short Story, Listen and learn -discussion topics and hands-on activities, Games for reinforcement, songs to reinforce concepts, and worksheets.
The book is also suitable for sighted primary aged children, and older children who are enrolled in a travel training program.
